As Hong Kong enters an era of rapid population aging, ensuring that the elderly live with dignity and peace of mind has become a pressing societal priority. Recently, RTHT was honored to be invited by Legislative Councillor Mr. Dominic Lee, District Councillor Mr. Lee Wing-man, and Chairman Mr. Tam Chi-chung to participate in a community event at West Kowloon Centre. We were pleased to share our latest research and development achievements in aging care and assistive technology.

During the event, our team introduced XoBrace, a pneumatic joint support device designed to assist the elderly in daily movement. This lightweight, wearable brace uses adjustable air pressure to provide targeted support to the knee, helping reduce joint pressure and enhance walking stability and comfort. Especially beneficial for individuals experiencing early-stage joint degeneration or post-surgical recovery, XoBrace aims to bring higher quality of life to older adults through practical, user-centered innovation.

At RTHT, we believe that while recognition and awards are encouraging, our core motivation lies in making a tangible difference in people's lives. This community event not only offered a meaningful opportunity to present our technology but also served as a valuable platform to engage with residents and gather direct feedback from potential users.

We sincerely thank Mr. Dominic Lee, Mr. Lee Wing-man, and Mr. Tam Chi-chung for their kind invitation and support, and extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the neighbors and community members who joined us. RTHT remains committed to advancing the field of gerontechnology and rehabilitation, bringing impactful solutions into real-world use, and contributing to a more inclusive and compassionate aging society.
